Windows XP: To optimize the speed of load of applications

The operating system Windows XP includes a new technology to increase the speed of load of the called applications Prefetching.

This service will monitor the applications that begin during the beginning of Windows to achieve that they are executed being able this way to diminish the time of beginning of the operating system more quickly.

Due to the great variety of computer configurations on those that is possible to install Windows XP, Prefetching has established a standard functional value for all the machines.

With this tip we will be able to configure this value to our system.

Folow these steps:

1- Go to Start Menu.

2- Run, Regedit.

3- Find the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlMemory ManagementPrefetchParameters

4 - Locate the value EnablePrefetche modifying their value. The value for defect will be "3", depending on its configuration recommends to settle down as value "5"

This change will diminish the time of start of the operating system notably and the yield of the system will increase.

It is possible that in certain configuration of the computer the system can unstable tornarse, it even exists the possibility that some programs comienzen to have problems in its operation, if it is its case, Prefetch can disable settling down in the chain EnablePrefetche the value "0" to disable it, or "3" to establish the value for defect.
